Kartarpur/Jalandhar: Punjab Governor Sri Gulab Chand Kataria today addressed the concluding ceremony of the two-day ‘Nasha Mukt-Rangla Punjab’ walkathon at the Jang-e-Azadi Memorial here. Nominations can be filed at 12 places for 85 wards. Municipal elections are to be held for 85 wards of Jalandhar.

Raids on about half dozen locations were carried out in Amarpura Basti and village Jandanwala of Maur Mandi.

The arrested accused are Heera Singh and Janpreet Singh, both residents of village Tharu, district Tarn Taran.
