Delhi government's cabinet minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa and National President JP Nadda is on a visit to Punjab today (on March 6).  They were welcomed by the BJP Punjab and BJP Chandigarh leadership.

Late at night, a youth was riding a bike with his two friends and on the way someone shot him from behind and killed a youth.

Chandigarh: Continuing its efforts to curb drug menace Punjab police in its anti drug operation have arrested 547 drug smugglers in five days since launching ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’, police said. Official sources from the police said on the fifth day of war against drugs the Punjab Police arrested 75 drug smugglers and recovered 27.7 kg.
