Panjab University Aditya murder case solved; 4 accused arrested by Chandigarh police

Chandigarh: The police have arrested four accused in the murder of Aditya Thakur, a second-year student at Punjab University, Chandigarh, during a show by Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma.

The accused were arrested by the Chandigarh Police and identified as Sahil, Lavish, Uday and Raghav. Let us tell you that the arrested accused are said to be residents of Manimajra.

During police interrogation, the accused said that the crowd was very large. When he started leaving after watching the concert for some time, the crowd led to a fight and minor scuffle with some students.

When he came out and told this to his other friends, they angrily said that those boys should be taught a lesson. After this, they all again reached the open ground outside the concert venue, near Boys Hostel No. 8, and started fighting again with the complainant and other students present there.

Meanwhile, his friends attacked the complainant/student with a knife, stabbing him in the back, while another student was stabbed in the right leg. After this, all the accused fled from there.
