In Patiala, a friend became an enemy of a friend when one of them opened fire on the other while intoxicated, resulting in the death of one. According to the information received, it happened late on Thursday night in an office near the old bus stand in Patiala.
Let us tell you that the accused fled from the spot along with the weapon after the incident. The police have taken the body into their possession and sent it to Rajinder Hospital and have started investigating the matter. The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Mahendra Singh alias Mama.
DSP City 1 Satnam Singh, who reached the spot, said that Mahendra Singh alias Mama was sitting with an acquaintance in the office near the bus stand. Both were drinking alcohol. During this, the two got into an argument over something. After this, the accused fired three bullets at Mahendra Singh, which hit him on the head and chest. Mahendra Singh died on the spot due to the bullet injury.
