Patiala: SSP Nanak Singh of Patiala while talking to the media said that the arrested members are part of the interstate organized gang involved in theft and robbery. These individuals were wanted in multiple cases in Haryana related to robberies and incidents, they were absconding. Now these persons are planning to commit a big dacoity and robbery incident.
While taking action against them, five members of their gang have been arrested and nine cartridges including two pistols have been recovered from them. The names of these accused are Manish Kumar, a resident of Ambala Cantt, Haryana, Sahil Pai, a resident of Patiala, Varun Kumar, a resident of Soigra Mohalla, Patiala, Sahil Kumar, a resident of Gumind Nagar, Saharanpur, Sudeshwala Cantt.
The main leader of their gang is Manav alias Bokhal, a resident of Ambala Cantt, Haryana. His arrest is yet to be made.
Patiala Police has registered a case against them under Section 310 (4), 310 (5), 317 (3), 61 (2) BNS 25/54/59 of the Arms Act at Katwali Police Station.
