Unbridled car runs on road of Patiala, blew up whoever come in front

It is being investigated whether the youths were under the influence of drugs or if there was some other reason.

Patiala: In Patiala, Punjab, a car ran in an uncontrolled manner and created a sensation. Due to this people got angry and vandalized the car.

The accused were caught by the local people and handed over to the police. The arrested accused appear to be minors. At present, the police is interrogating both of them.

The incident took place today in the afternoon. A car from Haryana passed near the old bus stand in Patiala. There was another youth, along with the driver, in the car. While driving the car fast, they first hit a street vendor and an Activa driver under the bridge near the railway station. After this, the car did not stop and kept on blowing up everything that came in front.

Seeing the car hitting the road, there was a stir in the area. People started chasing the car. The car kept running unbridled for about 6 kilometres.

The car ran over whoever came in front of it. The car hit nearly two dozen e-rickshaws, hawkers, two-wheeler riders, and signboards outside shops.

The car was finally stopped by people in a square. The angry people beat up the youths who came out of the car. The car was also badly damaged.

The police were informed, and the accused were handed over to them. According to the information received, the youths caught are minors.

It is being investigated whether the youths were under the influence of drugs or if there was some other reason. The police are also gathering information about the family of the accused. Soon, a case will be registered against the accused, and action will be taken.
