Abohar: People took out a candle march on Sunday to wake up the administration in Abohar. According to the people, the rally’s purpose was to warn the administration to wake up the street lights that have been off for a long time on Ganganagar Road.
According to the people, due to the street lights being off, there is darkness all around the road. This road is used by the city residents and the people of the nearby villages. Due to darkness, many road accidents happen here. Taking advantage of the darkness, mischievous elements commit theft here.
Local people and Azim Desh Prem Sangathan tried to wake up the administration through this candle march. Also gave an ultimatum that a big movement will be organised if the work does not start within 15 days. The candle march started from Riddhi Siddhi Colony and ended at Mahatma Buddha Chowk.
