Threatening the arhtiya, the accused said, “You have a message from Lawrence Bhai, we have been doing recce for 6 months. Your name is written on the bullet of the pistol. Keep 25 lakh rupees ready. In the end, the said youth said Ram Ram and disconnected the phone.”

Arhtiya Sachin Agarwal who received this call said that he has an ice factory in Saifabad, a commercial computer way-bridge in Ludhiana and an arhatiya in the grain market of Phillaur. The person who threatened him on the phone had information about his entire business.

While giving a complaint to the police, Sachin told that on July 21, he was in the ice factory in village Saifabad, when at around 4 pm he received a WhatsApp call from a foreign number. He even added that in which the voice was not clear due to network problem.

Businessman Agarwal said that he could not pick up the phone three times for some reason. But when the phone rang for the fourth time at 4:11, he picked up the phone. The caller said – “You are Sachin Agarwal, Lawrence Bishnoi has sent a message to keep 25 lakh rupees ready. We have been doing your recce for six months. All we know about you is that you have an ice factory and a fork on the highway. You do not need to be too smart, the bullet is ready for you, when 25 lakh rupees are ready, call on this number and say Ram-Ram, and disconnect the phone.”

The victim businessman had complained about the matter to the police of Phillaur police station on Monday. On Tuesday, the said commission agent had given a complaint to DSP Phillaur Swarnjit Singh. The victim said that after complaining about the incident, he had requested the police to take action in the matter.
