Batinda: The police have arrested a wife who came to give drugs to her husband, lodged in Bathinda Central Jail. Jail administration has recovered white powder and tobacco from Jasvir Kaur, who came to meet her, which her husband had ordered. Police are investigating the case.
Bathinda Police has arrested a woman with drugs under the ongoing campaign against drugs. The name of the arrested woman has been given as Jasvir Kaur and the police have recovered 40 capsules of white powder, 51 grams, 93 grams of tobacco from her.
It is worth mentioning that Jasvir Kaur’s husband Baljit Singh, resident of Chand Bhan, is lodged in Bathinda Central Jail.
Baljit Kaur had hidden these drugs in 12 plastic pipes. After which the jail administration has handed over Jasvir Kaur to the police. The drugs were ordered from Jasvir Kaur by her husband Baljit Singh, who is lodged in Bathinda Central Jail.
Bathinda Police have registered a case against Baljit Kaur and her husband, Jasvir Singh under various sections on the complaint of Assistant Jail Superintendent Karamjit Singh.
