Bathinda Police arrests mobile snatcher

Police recovered mobile in some time, the accused was running away after snatching.

Bathinda: Bathinda Police arrested a youth who had snatched a mobile and fled. The accused is currently being questioned by the police.

According to the information, while taking action against the miscreants, the in-charge of the Industrial Area Police Post, Bathinda, had set up a blockade at Hi-Tech Kot Shamir. A person arrived and reported that a bike rider had snatched his mobile phone and fled.

Upon receiving this information, the police immediately took action against the unknown individuals, and the Sadar Police Station of Bathinda registered a case and initiated an investigation. During the investigation, upon receiving secret information regarding the accused Arshdeep Singh, a resident of Back Side Chahal Factory Kot Shamir, the police party, along with the in-charge of the Industrial Area Police Post, conducted a raid to arrest the accused. Arshdeep started running into the fields upon seeing the police party approaching from the road. The police party apprehended him and recovered the mobile phone that had been snatched.

During interrogation, the accused Arshdeep revealed that he had committed nine incidents of snatching mobile phones. The police are currently attempting to recover the mobile phones that were snatched by him.”
