45 police personnel of Tarn Taran got reward

DGP sent appreciation letters, and SSP distributed rewards worth Rs. 3.5 lakhs.

Amritsar: Police of Tarn Taran, Punjab, 45 police personnel who performed well in solving big criminal cases and caught the criminals were sent appreciation letters by DGP Punjab and were also given a cash reward of Rs. 3.5 lakhs.

Such police personnel were given awards by Tarn Taran SSP Ashwani Kapoor. The police personnel who received the award said that getting such appreciation from the higher authorities has created a spirit of doing better work in them, while other police personnel will also be motivated to perform well in solving criminal cases.

SSP Ashwani Kapoor said that a list of police personnel who caught big drug smugglers, looted weapons from gun houses, and arrested criminals in murder cases within 24 hours was prepared and sent to the DGP office so that such policemen can be encouraged by giving them awards.

After this, 45 such police personnel were given appreciation letters from the DGP office, and cash prizes were also given as a reward. SSP Ashwani Kapoor said that the police personnel who received the award include inspectors, sub-inspectors, constables, and home guards.
