These districts include Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Rupnagar, Mohali, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, Fazilka, Muktsar, Bathinda and Mansa districts. Similarly, there is an alert of strong thunderstorm and lightning at different places in Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr and Rupnagar.
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall is likely at many places on 29 and 30 May. While there is a possibility of thunderstorm/lightning at different places on 31 May and 01 and 02 June. In such a situation, people need to be careful.
