Patiala: Senior BJP leader and party candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha Constituency Preneet Kaur has expressed grief over the death of a farmer during campaigning at village Saheri.
To pay tribute to the departed soul and express solidarity with the bereaved family, Praneet Kaur has canceled all her promotional programs for the next 2 days.
In her message to the bereaved family, Praneet Kaur said, “I am deeply saddened by the demise of farmer Surinder Pal Singh, who has unfortunately passed away.” She said, “My family has always stood by the farmers & we will continue to do so.”
She further said that his family has a long association with farmers and all farmers are like brothers and sisters to him. She assured that she and her family will stand with the farmers till their last breath. He prayed to God to grant eternal abode to the departed soul at his feet and give strength to the family to bear this loss.
