A case of brutal treatment of a student by the principal of a private school in Baddon village of Hoshiarpur district of Punjab has come to light. The video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which the principal can be seen pulling the hair of a student and beating him brutally.
This incident is of a private school in Baddon village, where the school principal not only beat up a student, but also pulled the hair of a Sikh child. It is clearly visible in the video that the student is crying due to pain and fear, but instead of stopping her actions, the principal is becoming more violent. Not only this, the child who is being slapped appears to be about 6 years old.
Outrage on social media
As soon as this video went viral, there was a lot of anger among the people. People on social media have condemned this act and demanded strict action against the school administration and the principal. Sikh organizations and social workers have called it an insult to the symbols of Sikhism and have demanded immediate justice.

After the incident, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has taken cognizance of the matter. He said that this video is of a private school. After which he has ordered the local administration to take criminal action against the school principal and owner.
