Prostitution racket busted in Moga: 19 including 11 women arrested

Moga: In Moga, Punjab, the police raided a hotel located on Ludhiana Road at night. 11 girls and 8 boys were arrested from here. It is alleged that prostitution was going on on a large scale in the hotel. The hotel manager was also caught by the police on the spot. The police is now investigating the matter further.

Moga police station chief Gurpreet Singh said that the police had received information that prostitution takes place in Hotel Rock Star located on Ludhiana Road in Moga. Hotel owners Paramveer and Sumit are involved in it. If a raid is conducted on the spot, a large number of boys and girls can be caught. A police party was formed on this. Taking women cell in-charge Kulwinder Kaur along, the police raided the spot in Hodal.

During the raid, some boys and girls were found in objectionable condition in the hotel rooms. All of them were detained by the police and arrested after interrogation. During the raid in the hotel, 11 girls and 8 boys were arrested. The hotel manager is also included in these. The police has registered a case against them. The arrest of the hotel owners is yet to be made. The police is engaged in further action.
