PSEB Class 8 Result Declared: 97.30% Pass, Puneet Verma tops with 100% Marks

Chandigarh: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared the result of class 8. A total of 2 lakh 90 thousand 471 students from 10 thousand 471 schools appeared in the examination, out of which 2 lakh 82 thousand 627 have passed the examination. The exam result was 97.30 percent. Puneet of Hoshiarpur became the topper.

Chandigarh: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared the result of class 8. A total of 2 lakh 90 thousand 471 students from 10 thousand 471 schools appeared in the examination, out of which 2 lakh 82 thousand 627 have passed the examination.

The exam result was 97.30 percent. Puneet of Hoshiarpur became the topper by scoring 100% marks, while girls were at the other two positions. The result has been uploaded on the board’s website www.pseb.ac.in and www.indiaresults.com . At the same time, for those students who could not get promoted, the compartment exam will be conducted in June 2025, for which the concerned students will fill a separate application form.

During this period, Puneet Verma of Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Chief Khalsa Dewan, Model Town, Hoshiarpur scored 100 percent marks , while Navjot Kaur of Sant Mohan Das Memorial Secondary School, Kot Sukhia, Faridkot secured second position by scoring 100 percent marks and Navjot Kaur of Guru Nanak Public Secondary School, Chanan K (Adda Nath Di Khui), Amritsar secured third position by scoring 99.83 percent marks.

As per the rules of Punjab School Education Board, a younger candidate is given higher place in the merit if he obtains the same marks.
