Chandigarh: The students in Punjab who have not yet filled out the forms for the compartment examination of classes 10th and 12th, have been given time till June 20 by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to apply. After this, no one will be given a chance to apply.
The board has uploaded all the information in this regard on its website. Students will get all the information from the departmental website. However, the date sheet related to the examination has already been released. The examination will start in the first week of July.
5th and 8th schedule
Earlier, the schedule of classes 5th and 8th was released by PSEB. According to this, the time for students to fill the examination form and fee online has been fixed as June 20. The students will have to submit the hard copy of the examination form to the regional offices by June 25. The fee for the examination form for class 5th has been kept at Rs 600. Whereas if the student wants to take a hard copy of the certificate, then he will have to deposit a fee of Rs 200 separately. Similarly, the fee for class 8th will be Rs 950 and Rs 200 for the certificate.
Exams will be conducted like this
According to the information received from the board, the 5th exams will start on July 4 and will continue till July 11. The 8th class exams will be held between July 4 and July 16. The 10th class compartment exams will be held from July 4 to July 16 and the 12th class exams will be held from July 4 to July 19.
