PSEB announces class 12th result, Harsirat Kaur from Barnala tops with 100 percent marks

Chandigarh: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared the results of class 12th. 91 percent students have passed. The result has been 2 percent less than last year. Board Chairman Dr. Amar Pal Singh is holding a press conference. Students will be able to see the result from the board’s website.

All three toppers are girls. Harsirat Kaur of Barnala has topped by scoring 500 out of 500 marks. Harsirat is a student of Sarvhitkari Senior Secondary Vidya Mandir, Barnala.

Manveer Kaur of Kassoana, Ferozepur, has secured second place in the state by securing 498 marks out of 500 (99.6%). She is a student of SS Memorial Senior Public School, Kassoana. Arsh, a student of Shri Tara Chand Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School Tikhi, Mansa, has secured third place by scoring 498 marks out of 500.

After this, their result will appear. Apart from this, students will also be able to see the result by going to their school.

More than three lakh students took the exam

This time, more than three lakh students from all over Punjab participated in the Punjab School Education Board’s class 12th exam. The board was preparing to announce the results on time from the first day itself so that the students do not have to face any kind of difficulty later.

Board officials say that in this regard, the DMC will be announced in hard copy only to those students who have applied. The rest of the students will have to get it from DG Locker.
