The CIA-1 team in Ludhiana nabbed three miscreants on New Shivaji Nagar Neela Jhanda Road at around 11 pm on Tuesday night. One miscreant escaped by dodging the police. All three miscreants have links with gangsters.
The police have also recovered an illegal pistol from the possession of the said miscreants, while one youth escaped from the spot. The police team brought the three arrested youths to the Crime Branch. The police team is interrogating the miscreants.
According to the information, the CIA teams were raiding and searching in different areas of the city in connection with the attack on the house of gangster Puneet Bains a few days ago. Where the CIA-1 team got information about four youths roaming in a Polo car in the area of New Shivaji Nagar.
As soon as the CIA-1 team tried to catch them by parking their car in front of their car at around 11 pm late night, two of the said youths pointed pistols at the police team. The police showed alertness and caught them. One of them managed to escape.
The CIA team took the three arrested youths with them. The police also recovered a pistol from the arrested youths. At present, no police officer is ready to say anything in this matter. The police will soon reveal the whole matter.
