Narcotics recovers from woman in Kapurthala

Kapurthala: In Punjab, 137 grams of narcotics being recovered from a woman who came to meet her husband, who is a prisoner in the NDPS case in Kapurthala Modern Jail. This was revealed during the search by the female security personnel before she met her husband. According to information, Sub Inspector Ajaib Singh posted in jail security said that the accused woman has been arrested and an FIR has been registered at the police station in Kotwali. And the Kotwali police are investigating the matter.

According to the information received from the police, his wife, Kamaljit Kaur, had come to meet Rahul Verma, a resident of village Khothra, SBS Nagar, who is serving a sentence in the NDPS case in Kapurthala Modern Jail. But the woman was searched by the team of security personnel posted in the jail. During the search, 137 grams of narcotics were recovered from the woman.

At the same time, the accused woman, Kamaljit Kaur, wife of Rahul Verma, a resident of Khothra, was arrested, and an FIR was registered under the NDPS at the Kotwali police station. Sub-inspector Ajaib Singh said that the accused woman had been handed over to the Kotwali police station.
