AGTF foils terror plot by Pak terrorist Rinda; huge cache of weapons recovered from Gurdaspur forest area

The police, acting in time, recovered a huge quantity of weapons and explosives from the forests of Gurdaspur, which were to be delivered to the associates of terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda sitting in Pakistan.

The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) ​​of Punjab Police has foiled a major terrorist conspiracy linked to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and Khalistani organization Babar Khalsa International (BKI) in an intelligence-based operation.

The police, acting in time, recovered a huge quantity of weapons and explosives from the forests of Gurdaspur, which were to be delivered to the associates of terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda sitting in Pakistan.

The recovered items include two AK-47 rifles, 16 live cartridges, two magazines and two P-86 hand grenades. Initial investigation has revealed that these weapons were sent by Pakistani agencies and Rinda with the intention of spreading unrest in Punjab. This action of the police has been successful in averting a major attack.

The AGTF team, acting in time, foiled a major conspiracy of ISI and terrorist Rinda. The police have registered a case under the Explosives Act and Arms Act regarding this consignment of weapons recovered from the forests in the Purana Shala police station area of ​​​​Gurdaspur.

According to officials, further investigation is underway and soon those people will be identified and arrested who were conspiring with Rinda to carry out terror activities through this consignment in Punjab.
