Bathinda: SSP Bathinda has taken strict action against the four negligent policemen. SSP Avneet Kaur Kaundal suspended three employees of the CIA staff and the in-charge was transfer to police line.
SSP Avneet Kaur Kaundal said that big operations are being conducted by Punjab Police all over Punjab against drug smugglers and gangsters. Bathinda Police has also been given some tasks regarding drugs, but ASI Harinder Singh, Senior Constable Lakhbir Singh and Amrik Singh of CIA Staff-1 have neglected their duty by not completing these tasks.
Suspended police employees initiating their suty under the supervision of CIA in-charge Jaswinder Singh, who did not try to complete the tasks from these employees, after which a letter was written by SP (D ) Ajay and action was recommended. After which ASI Harinder Singh, Senior Constable Lakhbir Singh and Amrik Singh have been suspended. In-charge Jaswinder Singh has been transferred to police line. She said that action will be taken against any policeman who is negligent in their duty.
