Chandigarh: Today an important meeting will be held at the office of Punjab BJP in Chandigarh. The meeting is held at time when by-elections will be held in the coming months. As per information, the meeting will be attended by all the office bearers of the Bhartiya Janta Party.
In today’s meeting, all the office bearers will arrive. The meeting will be led by the former Chief Minister of Gujarat and BJP Punjab in-charge Vijay Rupani. In the meeting there will be discussion on various aspects including upcoming elections, the leadership of the party in the state and many more.
The meeting will be attended by top office bearers but there is doubt on the presence of Punjab BJP Chief Sunil Jakhar. As per reports, Jakhar will not be attending today’s meeting.
Earlier a meeting was held in which the Lok Sabha candidates were invited and the 2027 assembly elections including the by-elections were targeted. BJP is continuously trying to expand its base in Punjab.
In the coming days, a Tricolor campaign will be launched as part of Independence day celebrations. In today’s meeting, office bearers will be informed about it and will be motivated to carry out the same in their respective areas.
