Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Mann will start the Nasha Mukti Yatra in Phillaur, Jalandhar today, i.e., on Friday. In this regard, a meeting of government-appointed leaders was also held in all the districts from May 2 to 4. This campaign will be run jointly by the Sarpanch, Police and Administration. Gram Raksha Samitis will also be included in this campaign. CM Bhagwant Mann himself will start it today.

In view of Nasha Mukti Yatra, Arvind Kejriwal posted on X. He said, “In the last two and a half months, Punjab Police and Punjab Government have started a war against drugs. For the first time, action is being taken against drug smugglers on such a large scale. From today, the Nasha Mukti Yatra is starting in Punjab. This Yatra will go to every village and every ward of Punjab. Through this Yatra, people will now be connected with the Nasha Mukti Abhiyan. In every village and every ward, people will take an oath that they will not consume drugs themselves, will not let anyone sell drugs in their area and will get the drug addicts treated and get them out of addiction. The Punjab government has made arrangements on a large scale for the treatment of drug addicts. I and Bhagwant Maan ji will begin this journey today. Three crore members of the Punjab family will now ensure that they eliminate drug addiction from Punjab.”

CM Bhagwant Mann himself had shared the information about this campaign. CM Bhagwant Mann had said that we will fight together against drugs, because unless the common people join this campaign, it cannot be successful.

That is why the CM Helpline was started, on which any person can give information related to drug smuggling. Let us tell you that this campaign was to be started earlier, but it was postponed for a few days amid the India-Pakistan dispute.
