CM Bhagwant Mann to launch Health Card, free treatment upto Rs 10 lakh in hospitals across Punjab

Under the scheme, 65 lakh families will be covered by the government.

To provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab, the Chief Minister’s Health Scheme will be launched today by the Punjab Government. Under this, today CM Bhagwant Mann will launch the health card, through which they will be able to avail cashless treatment up to 10 lakhs in hospitals across the state.

The government has announced in this regard in its budget 2025-26. Under the scheme, 65 lakh families will be covered by the government.

Treatment up to Rs 10 Lakh with Health Card 

Under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, a health card will be available, through which they will be able to avail treatment up to 10 lakhs in hospitals across Punjab. This scheme will also include those people who come under the central government scheme.

They will get an additional top-up cover of 5 lakhs from the state. The card will provide cashless treatment of 10 lakhs. In this, whether rural or urban, rich or poor, everyone can take advantage of this scheme.
