Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will meet Governor Gulab Chand Kataria today (March 24) evening. This meeting will take place at 4 pm. This meeting is going to take place in the midst of the budget session. The Governor himself has invited the Chief Minister for tea. During this, the major issues of the state and all the bills passed in the assembly will be discussed.
The budget session started on Friday
Actually, the assembly session started on Friday itself. The Chief Minister was invited by the Governor on the same day. Although there was a discussion on social media that there could be a reshuffle in the cabinet of Punjab, but the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has clarified that there is no such plan.
At the same time, it is expected that the campaign against drug abuse in the state can be discussed as the Governor himself keeps visiting the border areas.
Most of the proposals were passed
The relations between Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and the Chief Minister have been quite good. Ever since Gulab Chand Kataria took over as the Governor of Punjab, he has approved most of the budgets passed by the Punjab Government with priority.
