If any police employee is found involved in the drug business at any level, he will be dismissed on the spot. His uniform will be taken off. At the same time, ten thousand new police employees will be recruited to meet the shortage of employees.
At the same time, the police will work with a mission, while there will be no place for commission in this work. Transfers are being done on a large scale to end friendships and relationships in police stations. At the same time, if an MLA of any party gives any complaint, then the officers have to hear it. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann told this to the media after a meeting with the SSPs of all the districts. He told that orders have been issued to the DC and SSP.
Orders were given to the officers to sit in the offices
As soon as the Lok Sabha elections were over, the CM had a meeting with DGP Gaurav Yadav at his residence. In this, he had instructed the police to connect with the people. After this, it was decided that police personnel will sit in their offices from 11 am to 1 pm. People’s complaints will be resolved on priority basis. The above orders were implemented.
At the same time, the department claimed that the efforts of the police have been successful. About forty thousand complaints have been resolved. These orders were issued from SHO level to DGP office.
