Fazilka: In Punjab, Fazilka Police has recovered 66 kg of opium and has succeeded in arresting the mastermind of the consignment, Kamal Singh, from Jharkhand.
It is being told that Kamal Singh was the main source of the accusation. The police have taken him on transit remand, and he is being questioned.
The police have arrested a total of six accused in this case so far.
Fazilka SSP Dr Pragya Jain said that in the case of 66 kg of opium recovered by the police, the police professionally took action, and the Fazilka police team went to Jharkhand. From where the police got success.
In this case, the police rounded up Kamal Singh, a resident of Gumla, Jharkhand, the main source of 4 kg of opium, and brought him to Fazilka.
He said that the remand of the accused is being obtained by bringing him on transit remand, and interrogation will be done.
SSP The SSP says that the main source of the 66 kg of opium recovered from the accused was Kamal Singh. He used to load opium in the vehicles that went there and send it to Punjab. The police claim that they have succeeded in catching the big fish in this case.
