Two cars collided head-on late Monday night near the village Peer Khan Sheikh (Mamdot) on the Ferozepur-Fazilka road. Two people, including a sub-inspector of Punjab Police, died in the accident. While two people were injured. They have been admitted to the local hospital.
Eyewitnesses say that one car was coming from Ferozepur and the other was coming from Guru Har Sahai. Due to the narrow width of the road and the light of another vehicle falling in the eyes, the two cars collided head-on.
In this accident, sub-inspector Kulwinder Singh, son of Darshan Singh, resident of Tarn Taran, and a woman died. The woman has not been identified yet.
Kulwinder is posted as a sub-inspector in the Punjab Police in Fazilka. People immediately informed the police. Police of the Mamdot police station reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital and started their action by taking the bodies of the deceased in their custody. The accident was very terrible, both vehicles were badly damaged.
