Chandigarh: The Punjab Government has invited applications from eminent persons with administrative experience to fill the vacant post of Chairman, the Punjab Public Service Commission, Patiala. An official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that as per the eligibility criteria, the applicants should have worked under the Government of India or the State Government for at least 10 years.
In addition, the age of the applicant should be less than 62 years as of the date of issuance of public notice in this regard. Candidates who have applied under the advertisements dated 26.11.2024, 14.12.2024 and 24.12.2024 need not apply again.
Interested applicants may submit their application along with their complete bio-data, along with an undertaking, to the office of Secretary Personnel, Government of Punjab (P.P.-3 Branch), Room No. 14, 6th Floor, Punjab Civil Secretariat, Sector-1, Chandigarh, up to 5:00 PM on March 15, 2025.
A search committee headed by the Chief Secretary will shortlist the names of eligible candidates. These names will then be considered by a high-powered committee headed by the Chief Minister of Punjab.
