Punjab Govt to launch doorstep delivery of Citizen-Centric Services from tomorrow, Mann-Kejriwal to attend the event

Chandigarh: Punjab government will launch the doorstep delivery of public services to its citizens at an event to be attended by CM Bhagwant Mann and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in Ludhiana tomorrow. The information was shared by AAP spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang that from December 10, the Punjab Government will provide public services to people.

The information was shared by AAP spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang that from December 10, the Punjab Government will provide public services to people of the state at their doorstep.

Under this scheme a total of 43 services including, issuance of certificates of birth and death, income, caste, pensions, and electricity bill payments, among others right to the doorsteps of people can be accessed by the people of the state.

Service can be availed by dialing a number ‘1076’  after which people can schedule an appointment at their own convenience. People will have to pay a fees to avail a particular service. It should be noted that Arm license, Aadhar card and e-stamp paper service will not come under this.
