Punjab Govt working for comprehensive development of state: Minister Balkar Singh

He said that no stone will be left unturned to ensure the all-round development of the city.

Kartarpur: Punjab Local Government Minister Balkar Singh said today that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government is working on the agenda of all-round development of the state and this government has taken revolutionary decisions for the welfare of every section of the state.

Addressing a function here, the cabinet minister said that the thinking of Aam Aadmi Party president Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is to take every class together and develop them in four directions.

He said that the state government has provided facilities to all sections without any bias, including 600 units of electricity waiver, Aam Aadmi Clinic, School of Eminence, Chief Minister’s Tirath Yatra Scheme, ‘Sarkar Tuhade dwaar’ and any other initiatives. He said that the guarantees given to the people of the state are being fulfilled by the Bhagwant Mann government while working with full sincerity and diligence.

Talking about the development of Kartarpur city on this occasion, the Minister said that vehicles have been arranged to collect garbage regularly to ensure cleanliness in the city. He said that a road will be constructed near Gurdwara Sri Gangsar Sahib at a cost of 2.5 crore rupees, the tender for which will be done in a few days. Along with the road, lighting and footpaths will also be constructed.

He also said on this occasion that since the history of the city is connected with Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, a memorial gate will also be built here in the name of Guru Sahib. He said that no stone will be left unturned to ensure the all-round development of the city. Meanwhile, the minister also heard the problems of the people of Kartarpur constituency and on the occasion instructed the officials to solve them appropriately.
