According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave surge is likely to occur in many parts of the state from May 16 to 18. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature can reach 44 to 46 degrees Celsius in many districts. The Meteorological Department has also issued an orange alert regarding strong winds.
