Punjab desk: In a major breakthrough, State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Amritsar in a joint operation with Central agency busted LeT, Lashkar-e-Toiba module and arrested 2 persons who are the residents of Jammu and Kashmir. Police also recovered various things including 2 IEDs, 2 Hand Grenades, 1 pistol with 2 Magazines, 24 cartridges, 1 Timer Switch, 8 Detonators & 4 Batteries.
Terror module handled by Firdaus Ahmed Bhat, an active member of the Lashkar-e-Toiba. The action of Police is a major blow to terror module attempting to disturb peace in Punjab. The information was shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav. He also assured that Police is striving to make Punjab secure and safe as per vision of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.
