Amritsar: Aam Aadmi Party National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be campaigning in Punjab. As per the information received, Delhi CM Kejriwal will campaign for AAP candidates in Punjab till May 30. The Polling in Punjab is scheduled for June 1 during the final phase of polls.
During the election campaign, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann along with the respective candidate of that constituency will also remain with him. Today, polling was held for seven seats of the National Capital where AAP contested in alliance with Congress. After getting free from the election campaign in Delhi, Now Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will be in Punjab till May 30.
Scheduled programs of Arvind kejriwal
As per information available, CM Kejriwal will leave for Punjab from his residence in Civil Lines at 7 pm today. He will reach Amritsar at 9 pm tonight.
Tomorrow, Sunday, May 26 afternoon, CM Kejriwal will hold a town hall meeting in Ferozepur. Party workers along with large number of people will be attending the meeting.
Later tomorrow evening, Arvind Kejriwal will hold a road show in support of AAP candidates in Hoshiarpur and Bathinda.
Arvind Kejriwal casts vote
Arvind Kejriwal earlier today cast vote along with his family. After casting vote, he showed his inked finger and said ‘I vote against the dictatorship’.
