Mansa: On one side, agitation is going on at the Shambhu border, due to which the road from Rajpura to Ambala is closed, while on the other side, people are using different routes, one of which is the dirt bridge of Tepla village.

This bridge connects Tepla village directly to Ambala but this bridge is built by raw drain and filling it with soil and it is built inside the river Ghaggar, over which heavy and small vehicles pass.

In such a situation, when water level increases of Ghaggar river, there will be landslides and no vehicle will be able to pass through here and the villagers and other people will have to cover a distance of at least 40 to 50 km to reach Ambala.

People say that this bridge should be made of concrete so that people can cross here and no accident happens in future because the soil around the bridge is always sliding and they also demanded the government to make concrete bridge at this place. The bridge should be built so that people can benefit and people can easily reach Ambala.

Rainy season is going to start in next one-two days, so it has to be seen whether the government makes any adequate arrangements for these people in these days or else people will have to risk their lives to cross this bridge.
