Punjab Police arrests drug smuggler in Abohar, recovers 1300 Pregabalin capsules

Large quantity of narcotic capsules recovered, used to supply to daily wage labourers in the market.

Abohar: In Abohar city Punjab Police arrested a drug smuggler on Sunday evening. Police recovered 1300 capsules of Pregabalin from the arrested drug smuggler.

It is being told that the accused used to supply these banned capsules to the daily wage labourers in Dana Mandi to relieve their fatigue. He will be produced in court by the police and taken on remand.

According to the information, Assistant Station Officer Ramesh Chand was patrolling near Ajit Nagar with the police team late on Sunday evening. During this time, he got the information that Sonu, son of Indra Singh, a resident of Cidafarm Pakka, calls himself a doctor and sells narcotic capsules to hardworking people. Is still roaming in Dana Mandi. On which the police raided and arrested the accused drug smuggler, Sonu, with 1300 Pregabalin capsules. Police have registered a case against the arrested drug smuggler under Section 318 (4) of the BNS.
