Punjab Police arrests 2 BKI operatives; prevents planned targeted killings

Mohali: In an intelligence-based operation, State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Mohali has apprehended two key operatives of BKI (Babar Khalsa International) who were directly linked to Pakistan based BKI terrorist Harwinder Singh Rinda & USA based Happy Passian, a major blow to cross-border terror networks. As per their initial disclosure, the accused committed a murder.

Mohali: In an intelligence-based operation, State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Mohali has apprehended two key operatives of BKI (Babar Khalsa International) who were directly linked to Pakistan based BKI terrorist Harwinder Singh Rinda & USA based Happy Passian, a major blow to cross-border terror networks.

As per their initial disclosure, the accused committed a murder and severely injured another in Nanded, Maharashtra, on February 10, 2025, following Rinda’s directions. They were also instructed to carry out targeted killings in Punjab as part of a larger coordinated terror operation.

Punjab Police Recoverd: Two .32 bore pistols and 5 rounds

Further investigations underway to expose the full network.

Those who are arrested are identified as Jagdish Singh alias Jagga R/o Janglat Vibhag, Harike Pattan, PS Harike Tarntarn and Shubhdeep Singh Aulakh alias Shubh R/o village Joneke, PS Chohla Sahib, Tarntaran & Jhujhar Singh Avenue, Chownki Gumtala, Amritsar

DGP Punjab Police Gaurav Yadav gave this information through his official X handle and he said that Punjab Police will remains resolute in its commitment to dismantle organized crime and ensure peace and harmony across the state.
