Preliminary investigation has revealed that one module is being run by Saivanbir, who is in direct touch with #Pakistan-based smugglers. He received heroin consignments and operated them under the guise of cattle trade.
Another accused, Jasbir Kaur, is associated with the cartel of notorious smuggler Ranjit alias Cheeta and maintains contacts with smugglers both in #India and across the border.
Punjab Police is determined to dismantle drug syndicates and save youth from the clutches of drugs.
