Dera Bassi: An encounter took place between the Punjab Police and the henchmen of foreign-based gangster Goldy Brar near Lalru in Dera Bassi, Punjab. Gangster Goldy Brar’s henchman Ravi Narayangadia was seriously injured in the incident. Yesterday, i.e. on Friday, the accused Ravi Narayangadia had demanded ransom by giving a slip at the immigration center in Dera Bassi.
After this, the teams of Punjab Police were searching for the said accused. The police arrested the accused after an encounter this afternoon. The injured gangster has been admitted to the government hospital in Dera Bassi for treatment.
Goldy is declared a terrorist under UAPA
Gangster Goldy Brar has been declared a terrorist under UAPA by the Union Home Ministry. His connections with the Khalistani terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) had come to light. Goldy Brar has been described as the right-hand of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
He came into the limelight after the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Goldy Brar is the son of a retired sub-inspector of Punjab Police. He became a gangster after the murder of his brother. Now he keeps committing crimes by changing faces. He has committed many such crimes in India.
