At the same time, the situation in Punjab will start becoming normal from Saturday. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in 19 districts today.
An orange alert for rain and strong winds has been issued in the entire state except Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr and Roop Nagar. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in the above four districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature of most of the cities of Punjab was around 40 to 45 degrees for the last few days, after this weather of 2 days, this temperature will come down to around 40 degrees.
Western disturbance will remain active till June 7
According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of Western disturbance will remain in Punjab till June 7. On June 6, there is an orange alert in the entire Punjab except 4 districts.
On June 7, a yellow alert for rain has been issued in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Muktsar, Faridkot, Moga, Bathinda, Barnala and Mansa. It is estimated that these areas may receive rain on June 7 as well.
At the same time, the weather in Punjab is becoming normal from June 8. The Meteorological Department has also not issued any alert regarding heatwave or storm. But the temperature will once again start reaching around 44-45 degrees.
Temperature of cities of Punjab
Amritsar – The maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 41.9 degrees yesterday. Today this temperature is expected to reach close to 40 degrees.
Jalandhar – The temperature on Wednesday evening was recorded at 41.6 degrees. Today it will fall and the temperature will reach close to 40 degrees.
Ludhiana- The maximum temperature of yesterday was recorded at 43.1 degrees. Whereas today this temperature can reach 41 degrees.
Patiala- The maximum temperature of Wednesday evening was recorded at 42.6 degrees. Whereas today this temperature is expected to reach 41 degrees.
Mohali- The maximum temperature of yesterday was recorded at 42.1 degrees. Whereas today this temperature is expected to reach 41 degrees.
