Jalandhar: Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader/former Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur and former MLA from Nakodar Gurpratap Singh Wadala open front against APP government CM Bhagwant Mann. Both have made serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party government.
They said that the Aam Aadmi Party government, which came to power by promising to take action against the accused of sacrilege in the state. But APP government did not take any action against the accused. Both Ram Rahim and Honeypreet were involved in the sacrilege case, these statements were recorded in the court by the main witness Pradeep Kaler. But still no action was taken.
SAD senior leader Bibi Jagir Kaur said that we will investigate all the cases of sacrilege. The SIT head has also accepted the reason behind the sacrilege. It has been two years since this happened. But the AAP government did nothing. AAP had claimed to solve the sacrilege cases in the first month. But nothing of that sort happened. In all the sacrilege cases, only FIRs were registered, but no action was taken.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the Punjab government lied to the people and formed the government by making promises to the people. Pradeep Kaler was the main witness in the case. He had named many people including Baba Ram Rahim and Honeypreet. But the Punjab government turned a blind eye to the said statements. Pradeep Kaler has admitted this in his 164 CRPC statements given to the police.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that Honeypreet and Baba himself are involved. But the Punjab government did not pay any attention to this. If Akali Dal did wrong then we can see the condition of Akali Dal today and where the party stands.
Former SGPC president said that CM Bhagwant Mann is busy luring Ram Rahim’s Disciples in Haryana. Because elections are due in October this year. In such a situation, AAP’s Chief Minister is busy luring the Disciples of the accused of sacrilege. CM Mann should take action on this. He knows everything about who was the accused and who was not. But the government has tried to suppress the case.
