After two days relief temperature has again start increasing in Punjab. average 3.2 degrees in a single day. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding heatwave for June 24 and 25, but pre-monsoon will also provide relief from June 26.
According to Meteorological Department, there will be a slight increase in temperature even today. On June 24-25, the temperature of most of the cities of Punjab will be recorded between 40 to 45 degrees. Metrological Department has also issue yellow alert of heatwave. The effect of heatwave will last only for two days.
Metrological Department reveal that there are chances of pre-monsoon getting activated in Punjab from 26th June. There may be light rain in some areas of Punjab on 26th and 27th June. Otherwise, it will remain cloudy and people will get relief from the heat. But there are chances of rain in most areas on 28th June.
