There was no change in the maximum temperature in Punjab on Tuesday. But it was 2.9 degrees Celsius above normal. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 32.5 degrees Celsius in Bathinda. The Meteorological Center says that there will not be much change in the temperature of Punjab today, but after that the average temperature of the state will increase by 4 degrees.
The effect of western disturbance continues in the areas adjoining Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Due to which there will be no change in the temperature of Punjab today. Weather experts say that the temperature may increase in the next few days. But the nights are cold. There can be a difference of about 10 to 15 degrees between day and night temperatures.
No chance of rain in Punjab
According to the Meteorological Center, neither the western disturbance will be active in Punjab for the next one week nor will there be much increase in temperature. The sky will remain clear and the sun will shine. Due to which the temperature of Punjab may increase by 4 degrees.
