In the last 24 hours, an average increase of 1.5 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the maximum temperature. However, despite this, the temperature of the state still remains 3.3 degrees Celsius below normal.
According to data released by the Meteorological Center, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 37.8 °C in Samrala, Ludhiana district. At the same time, the temperature in cities like Amritsar, Patiala and Bathinda was between 36 to 37 degrees. The maximum temperature in Bathinda was recorded at 36.8 ° C, which was 3 degrees below normal. The temperature in Ropar was 35.3 °C. While in Gurdaspur and Moga ,it was around 36 ° C.
Rain was not recorded in any part of the state. The weather remained completely dry. In the warning issued by the India Meteorological Department for the next 5 days, it has been clarified that there is no special warning regarding the weather in any district of Punjab. All 23 districts have been placed in the ‘No Warning’ category. This means that there is no possibility of heavy rain, heatwave, or any other weather hazard for the next 5 days.
Temperature will rise by 3 to 5 degrees
Meteorologists say that there has been a slight increase in temperature. But due to pre-monsoon conditions, the temperature remains below normal. If this situation persists, then in the coming days the monsoon may arrive on time or a little early.
