A heat wave alert has been issued in some districts of Punjab and Haryana from April 7 to April 9. At the same time, the average temperature of the state will increase by 5 ° C in the coming 4 days.

According to the Meteorological Department report, the average maximum temperature of Punjab has increased by 0.4 ° C in the last 24 hours and it has been recorded 2.4 ° C above normal. Patiala recorded the highest temperature with 37.2 ° C, which is 5.6 ° C above normal. At the same time, Faridkot recorded a temperature of 37 ° C.

The temperature of all the districts of Punjab has crossed 30 degrees. Patiala recorded 37.2°C, Faridkot – 37.0°C, Bathinda 37.2°C, Gurdaspur 33°C, Ludhiana 34.6°C, Amritsar – 30.8°C, Mohali 35°C and Hoshiarpur 32.2°C temperature.

Weather experts say that the temperature may increase further in the coming days, due to which there is a possibility of heat wave. Heat wave will have an effect in Punjab and Haryana from April 7 to April 9, so people have been advised to take precautions.

Talking about Punjab, initially the effect of heat wave will be seen in the districts adjoining Rajasthan, Fazilka, Muktsar, Bathinda and Mansa. After this, it will gradually spread to other districts as well.
