Chandigarh, July 13: There is no alert for heavy rain or thunderstorm in Punjab today (July 13). However, the Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain across the state. The temperature in the state has dropped by 0.1 degrees in 24 hours, which is 1.6 degrees below normal. The highest temperature was recorded at 36.1 degrees in Pathankot.
There is no rain alert for the next three days. Due to this, the heat and humidity will increase. There is an alert for heavy rain on July 16.
There is a possibility of light rain here today
Today, light to moderate rain is likely at some places in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar, Patiala, and SAS Nagar (Mohali). While light to moderate rain is also likely at some places in Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Moga, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Rupnagar.
Talking about the last 24 hours, rain has been recorded in Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Moga, Ferozepur, and Ludhiana. Patiala has recorded 2.0 mm of rain, and Fatehgarh Sahib has recorded 1.5 mm of rain. However, the Meteorological Department has advised people to remain alert during the rain.

The temperature of Rupnagar has dropped by 3.0 degrees. It has been recorded at 31.7 degrees. The temperature of Ropar has dropped by 3.4 degrees to 30.3 degrees. Sangrur has dropped by 2.8 degrees to 31.5 degrees.
