Punjab Weather Update: Rain and strong winds expected in 7 districts, maximum temp hovers below normal

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert regarding the weather in Punjab today as well. Rain and strong winds are expected in 7 districts adjoining Himachal Pradesh today. After the rain and strong winds in the state yesterday, the maximum temperature has dropped by an average of 3.2 degrees Celsius, which is below normal.

While the temperature of most of the cities of the state had crossed 40, now once again the temperature has dropped below 40 degrees. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 40.4 ° C, which was recorded in Samrala.

There is some relief in the warning on May 31. There is a possibility of light activities in the areas around Himachal like Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Pathankot, Amritsar, Rupnagar and Mohali. The effect of which will be seen in some districts of the state till June 3.
