At the same time, the minimum night temperature remained between 7 to 11 degrees.

Low rainfall in Punjab has raised concerns. After the 2024 monsoon drought, now 2025 has also started with less rain. After January 1, an average of 35.1 mm of rain fell in Punjab, but so far only 8.8 mm of rain has occurred.

At the same time, the Bhakra Dam management has already expressed concern due to the low water in the dams. Along with Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan have been warned about the decline in irrigation and power generation this year.
