Chandigarh: In Punjab, the maximum temperature today has dropped by an average of 0.6 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day. However, the average temperature of the state still remains 2.8 degrees Celsius above normal. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 33.2°C in Bathinda (Airport).
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature has crossed 30 degrees in 11 districts of Punjab. According to the data, no rainfall was recorded in any district of the state in 24 hours. According to meteorologists, an increase in temperature can be seen in the next few days.
